Awesome Chrome Apps and Extensions
Here are just a few apps and extensions of interest. They can be found by searching the Chrome Web Store, or by clicking the direct hyperlinks (in blue text).
Here is an amazing site, Chrome Toolbox, which recommends different apps and extensions that serve students' accessibility needs. Particularly useful are the tabs for, "By Task" and "By Profile".

- Speak It (Text to speech in more than 50 languages)
- Curiyo (long-click on text online to find out definitions, more information, images, etc. - useful when reading difficult passages)
- Chrome Vox
- Google Keep (To-Do List/Organizer)
- Voice Recognition - can export to Google Drive, Dropbox, Email, or onto your computer drive)
- Metal Mouth Voice Browser (I haven't tried it, but it looks interesting)
- Voice Note (speech to text)
- Dictanote (speech to text)
- Speech Recognition for Text Inputs
- Read & Write for Google (Word Prediction and many more great features - 30 day free trial for some features)
